Step 2: Enter Your Details
Once inside the portal, you will be guided through a questionnaire to input essential information that we need to complete your estate plan, such as:
- Marital status
- Family details
- Asset inventory
The majority of the questions are about you and your general wishes. Nothing should stop you from completing these questions as soon as possible.
Next Steps:
- Gather information about your assets, including bank accounts, real estate, and retirement accounts to complete the asset schedule document.
- Double-check all entries for accuracy before proceeding.
- Most clients complete the questionnaire in 30 minutes.
Step 3: Create & Verify Your Documents
Using the information provided, the portal will generate your Revocable Living Trust, Pour-Over Will, Financial and Healthcare Powers of Attorney, and Living Will (Medical Directives).
Next Steps:
- Review each document to confirm accuracy.
- Make any necessary changes before finalizing
If you need assistance, Prime Corporate Services provides experienced support to ensure all documents are completed correctly. For help, please email estateplan@primecorporateservices.com.
Step 4: Receive Your Documents
Once you finalize your estate plan, Prime Corporate Services will print and mail a professional estate planning binder to you. You can expect to receive it within 10 to 14 business days.
Next Steps:
- Review your printed documents upon arrival.
- Fill out additional forms by hand, such as the living Will (healthcare directive), personal letter of direction, and information for survivors.
What’s Included?
- Professionally printed documents.
- Tabbed sections for easy navigation.
- Instructions for signing and notarization.
Step 5: Finalize & Notarize Your Documents
To make your estate plan legally binding, you must sign and notarize each document following state guidelines. You can find detailed instructions on notarizing your documents here.
Next Steps:
- Locate a notary. Your bank may offer this service for free, but be sure to call ahead to confirm they are able to notarize a trust document before going in.
- Sign your documents in the presence of two witnesses.
- Upload signed copies to your Prime Corporate Services portal for safekeeping. This step is optional but highly recommended.
Can I update my documents later? Yes. Our client self-service portal makes updates and changes to your estate plan simple and accessible anytime.
Step 6: Fund Your Trust
A Revocable Living Trust is only effective if assets are properly transferred into it. This process, known as “funding the trust,” ensures that assets bypass probate. View detailed instructions on how to fund your trust here.
Next Steps:
- Retitle real estate, bank accounts, and investments in the name of the trust.
- Update beneficiary designations for life insurance and retirement accounts.
- Consult an estate planning specialist if needed.
Step 7: Keep Your Estate Plan Updated
Life changes, and so should your estate plan. Major events like marriage, having children, or acquiring new assets may require updates to your documents.
Next Steps:
- Log in to your portal to update information as needed, by going back through the questions for the document you wish to make changes to, and resubmit the document.
- Print off the new updated pages of the document you made changes to and put them into the binder we sent you. Discard the old pages you are replacing.
- Depending on the type of change you are making, you may need to re-notarize your documents (marriage, divorce, new children, adding or removing beneficiaries). Other changes like adding or removing personal assets or real estate will not require you to notarize your documents.
Reminder: Prime Corporate Services client self-service portal allows you to make updates anytime, ensuring your plan always reflects your wishes.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
My link expired. What should I do?
The link to set up your dashboard is time-sensitive and expires after 72 hours. If your link expired, reach out to estateplan@primecorporateservices.com to request a new one.
I have completed all of my documents. What’s next?
After you’ve completed your documents, our team will print and mail you a bound copy of them. Please note that these documents are not legally binding until all of the signature pages are signed and notarized. Review your documents carefully for any unresolved sections prior to signing and notarizing them.
While we will send you printouts of your documents, you’ll also have the ability to print additional copies directly from the platform at any time.
Do I need to upload my documents onto the platform?
After everything is signed and notarized, we recommend uploading the executed versions to your estate portal. While this is optional, it’s a good idea because it provides an additional layer of security in case your physical copies are lost or damaged.
How do I make changes or updates to my estate plan?
There are two options for making changes to your estate plan.
- For smaller updates to individual documents, log into your portal and select the document that requires changes. Click the “make changes” button and follow the prompts.
- For larger updates due to major life changes—such as marriage, divorce, having children, major asset updates, etc.—log into your portal and click “Reassess My Needs” at the bottom of the page under the “Documents” tab.
Please note that updating your estate plan, with both minor and major changes, will cause your documents to be regenerated. This means you will receive new documents in the mail and be required to sign and notarize them in order to finalize them.
During your first year, these changes are free of charge. After that, you can make as many updates as needed for a $199 fee per new document.
Can I share access to my portal with my designated trustee or those I’ve given power of attorney to?
If you’d like, you can also invite others to view your documents directly on the platform. This is particularly useful for your designated trustee or any individuals assigned to receive powers of attorney. Of course, inviting others to view your documents is entirely optional.
